Firstly I must tell the story as to how I became interested in Anglo Nubians. We started with 5 acres then as the goat population grew we grew to a property of 40 acres.
Our property is perfect goat country with lots of hills, gully’s, and partly scrubbed.
It started with two Miniature Does with pointy earsthat we purchased to eat the grass in the gullys. Then I noticed some with long ears, then I saw dapples (mottles).
I realized the ears and mottle was from Anglo Nubians. When I was offered an older Anglo Nubian doe I jumped at the chance. Her name is Fleur and I became hooked on how placid and friendly she was, although she is not a mottle.
I then decided to join the DGSA so I could read up on the Anglo Nubians in general. I then realized there are Anglo Nubians and "English Line"Anglo Nubians.
My first Goat World magazine had Flesser Farm Odette in it and I was in love. I saw her for real at last years Beaudesert Show and decided I had to have some of these exotic creatures.
I did not get the chance to purchase Odette when Flesser Farm closed but I am extremely happy to now own her half sister Flesser Farm Eliana

Our Anglo Nubian Stud is now a reality .
We are a D.P.I. Accredited CRV Property. All details of CRV and testing on stock from NSW have been personally checked and approved by past DGSA QLD President
Rosalyn McLennan
Our main breeding plans are to breed for large heavy boned animals with the exotic heads that their ancestors were so well known for. We are presently doing milk testing to ensure milk production is maintained.
Any Anglo Nubians bred at Hidden Valley Stud that are offered for sale in the future will have DNA information available to confirm parentage.
